StopForumSpam: WoltLab Community Suite 3

Die Erweiterung "StopForumSpam" für die WoltLab Suite 3 schützt Ihre Community mit Hilfe des gleichnamigen Dienstes vor Registrierungen durch unerwünschte Spam-Bots. Hierfür stehen Ihnen eine Hand voll Optionen zur Verfügung, um die Erkennung und das Verhalten derselben nach Belieben einstellen zu können.
Zur Wahrung des Datenschutzes werden zu keinem Zeitpunkt personenbezogene Daten an Dritte zur Überprüfung selbiger übermittelt. Stattdessen wird mit Hilfe eines stündlich auszuführenden Cronjobs eine lokale Datenbank erzeugt und jede Prüfung (IP, E-Mail-Adresse und/oder Benutzername) gegen die eigenen Datenbestände durchgeführt. Die Datenbestände werden sorgfältig gepflegt, aber es ist nicht ausgeschlossen, dass manche Einträge nicht korrekt oder veraltet sind. Zu diesem Zweck existieren unterschiedliche Abstufungen, wie die jeweiligen Übereinstimmungen zu werten sind.
Gegenwärtig werden ausschließlich neue Registrierungen überprüft. Künftig werden jedoch auch weitere Bereiche (z.B. das Kontakt-Formular oder die Themen- und Beitragserstellung durch Gäste) von der Prüfung abgedeckt.
Bei der Erweiterung "StopForumSpam: Core" handelt es sich um eine Rückportierung aus dem Standard-Umfang der kommenden WoltLab Suite 5.2.

The extension "StopForumSpam" for WoltLab Suite 3 protects your community from unwanted spam bots by using the service of theallowing same name. A handful of options are available for this purpose, which will help you to adjust the detection and behavior of these bots as you wish.
To protect your privacy, no personal information is ever given to any third party for review. Instead, a local database is created with the help of an hourly cronjob and each check (IP, e-mail address and/or user name) is carried out against the software's own databases. The databases are carefully maintained, but it cannot be ruled out that some entries may not be correct or out of date. For this purpose, there are different gradations of how the respective matches are to be evaluated.
At present, only new registrations are checked. In the future, however, further areas (e.g. the contact form or the creation of topics and contributions by guests) will also be covered by the check.
The extension "StopForumSpam: Core" is a backport from the standard featuresof the upcoming WoltLab Suite 5.2.
